I'm Katia, a master stylist and colour expert with over 20 years of salon experience. I enjoy working with my clients to create unique looks that they feel great in. From blunt bobs dyed dark to long rainbow locks with undercuts, from soft and natural balayage to a complete colour change, I’ve coloured and cut it all. I attend refresher courses each year to always be knowledgeable of the best and healthiest techniques to use.

My Story
When I was young, one of my best talents was drawing. Everyone thought I would be an architect or at least an artist but I was very passionate about colours, makeup and fashion hence my current career as a Hairstylist.

​My dad played a big part in choosing my current career as a hairstylist. When I was 17 years old my dad suggested I help a family friend who owned a hair salon. At that time it was popular for young girls to go into these jobs as summer holiday jobs. It was very boring, to be honest! Every morning I was questioning myself what I was doing?!? I didn't like it, the routine of washing heads, putting on rollers, washing off colours and cleaning the salon wasn't exactly what I expected from a creative Job.

One day, an invite arrived at the salon. "Sanrizz Colour trend session taken by Tony Rizzo" was taking place in Pescara, Italy, and I remember that it was the most amazing and inspiring day that changed my dream to be an architect.

The show was incredible, big stage, models, stylists on stage performing colours and haircuts and a final catwalk with lights, music and all the creative styles created that day.
That day I knew that I wanted to be a hairstylist and create amazing hairstyles that could make women beautiful and confident, I wanted to let people feel as good as I was at that time.

It has been a very long journey since 2000 when I started training as a hairdresser. I learned all the basics when I was in Italy training with l'Oreal and Framesi, following Italian and French styles.
In 2012 I decided to push myself over my limit and I moved to the UK. I wanted to be an international hairstylist capable to perform my art at all different levels and London was for me the perfect place to do so.

I spent the last 11 years learning English haircut styles, the colour trends and being able to work with such a large variety of different textures, and cultures from all over the world that London is famous for. I feel very inspired. How could I get bored with it!!

My talent is creating personalised style, every woman has her own style, I don't make you pretty, I enhance the way you look!
Using the basic geometry based on points, lines and planes I create shapes that suit your face/body shape.
Qualified as a colour expert at the LOreal Academy in London, every day I apply the colour theory which is the science of how colour works. The colour harmony with the personalised haircut will create the perfect style.
